Yifan Yao is currently a PI and professor of organic electronics at the State Key Laboratory of Chemo/Biosensing and Chemometrics, Hunan University. His research focuses on “organic electrochemical transistors, supramolecular self-assembly, and nanofabrication of multifunctional organic optoelectronic and bioelectronic devices”. He has established a set of effective nanofabrication strategies for the controllable preparation of high-performance organic optoelectronic devices.
Recently his research interests focus on vertical devices integration and application based on organic molecular crystal materials, to achieve efficient responses to physiological signals, sound, light, magnetic fields, and environment by combining the novel vertical devices and organic molecular crystals, and eventually realize the application of organic molecular crystal devices in high-frequency circuits, electrochemical transistors, bioelectronic devices, etc.
